So breaking news peeps. One day when I was browsing on Twitter. I found out that Cartoon Network has revealed that three new voice actors will be doing the voice actor work for each Powerpuff Girl and here’s which one will be voiced what?
Blossom will be voiced by Amanda Leighton, While cutesy Bubbles will be voiced by Kristen Li. And finally, Natalie Palamides will voice the greenest and most meanest of the bunch Buttercup. And the pic you see below is how will the Powerpuff Girls look like in the reboot. I have to admit, they still have their cute charms with especially with Bubbles now wearing blue hairclips. The designs thankfully will remain the same just like in the original series but with minor changes and different voice actors.
The Powerpuff Girls first aired in North America in November 1998 on Cartoon Network which ran for six seasons until 2005 consisting of 78 episodes, along with a theatrical movie co-created with Warner Bros. in 2002 and three other specials including the CGI special Dance Pantsed. The show even spawned all-sorts of merchandising such as video games, comic books and even toys.
The new reboot will premiere first in North America on Cartoon Network next year and will roll out to other regions in the coming months. Maybe you should check out Cartoon Network’s Twitter and see for yourself. You know what they say, the Girls are back in town!
